Pardon for the weird formatting.
The Ubuntu Membership Board is responsible for approving new Ubuntu members. I interviewed our board members in order for the Community to get to know them better and get over the fear of applying to Membership.

The seventh interviewee is Aaron Honeycutt:

[Q]What do you do for a career?
[A]I work for the School Board of Broward County (not a teacher lol).
[Q]What was your first computing experience?
[A]I remember a EMachine with Windows XP on it. Oh was that bad.
[Q]How long have you been involved with Ubuntu?
[A]5 years or so but just 2 years ago I got my Membership.
[Q]Since you are all fairly new to the Board, why did you join?
[A]To help out, welcome new members with open arms.
[Q]What are some of the projects you’ve worked on in Ubuntu over the years?
[A]Ubuntu Touch, Documentation.
[Q]What is your focus in Ubuntu today?
[A]Getting every Documentation team to work together in a similar fashion .
[Q]Do you contribute to other free/open source projects? Which ones?
[A]I help spread the word of LibreOffice and help their QA team when I can.
[Q]If you were to give a newcomer some advice about getting involved with Ubuntu, what would it be?
[A]Get onto the Mailing List, IRC and talk to people, we are a very friendly bunch!
[Q]Do you have any other comments else you wish to share with the community?
[A]Once you find that spot when your both needed and want to be, you’ll find happiness in the community
